Top prize for our yummy Stilton at the Global Cheese Awards

We’re celebrating after winning the two top prizes at the 2011 Frome Global Cheese Awards.

Our hand ladled, traditional rennet Blue Stilton was crowned Global Champion and UK Supreme Champion, which are the two most prestigious awards made at the show. We were also very proud to win the Best Exhibit in Show for the Blue Stilton category.

The Global Cheese Awards, held at the Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show, is one of the oldest cheese shows in Britain, and we we're delighted to be bringing back to the creamery the Supreme Champion's silver cup, which was donated to Frome in 1955 by our grandfather, Frank Skailes.
